Center for Educational Courses

The center is established in November,1999.for the

purpose of cultivating a group well-rounded intelligentsia

who have a keen sense of humanity. Through all kinds of

courses and cultural activities, we hope to broaden students'

insights, and to help them acquire the ability of independent

thinking, of handing problems properly, and of applying

professional knowledge to life and society. The center

consists of a director, a faculty of eighty-three teachers

coming from three divisions--Chinese, English, and sociology,

and a committee to set up all the teaching goals, research

plans, curricular designs, and intended perspectives.
